Singapore Airlines plane finds fire in crisis landing

SINGAPORE: A Singapore Airlines plane discovered flame Monday while making a crisis arrival at Changi Airport in the wake of turning once again from a flight to Milan taking after a motor oil cautioning message, the transporter said. 

Nobody was harmed on board the Boeing 777-300ER, yet one traveler portrayed those minutes as a "so-near death" experience 

SIA said in an announcement Flight SQ368 was on the way from Singapore to Milan when a motor oil cautioning message constrained it to swing back to the city-state. 

"The airplane's correct motor burst into flames after the flying machine touched down at Changi Airport at around 6:50am," it said. 

"The flame was put out via air terminal crisis administrations and there were no wounds to the 222 travelers and 19 team on board. Travelers landed through stairs and were transported to the terminal working by bus.The carrier said travelers would be exchanged to another flying machine to leave for Milan later in the day and that it would "participate completely with the prevailing voices in their examinations." 

One traveler posted a frightening record and a video of the motor flame on Facebook. 

The 49-second video cut, evidently shot from a seat by the window, indicated tongues of fire and smoke immersing the right motor before they were put out. 

"I just got away demise," Facebook client Lee Bee Yee said in a post that went with the video cut. 

"Our Singapore Airline plane was spilling oil 3 hours taking off and the plane needed to turned back. In the wake of achieving Changi Airport, as the plane was getting, the motor burst into flames!!!! Tremendous flame was smoldering," Lee composed. 

A SIA representative however told AFP that the plane was one hour and 45 minutes into the flight when it turned back. 

"It was a tragic 5 mins! Sitting tight for the flame motor and fire contenders to put out the flame! They shot froth and water into the discharge and in the end it was put out! We were so near death!!" Lee included.
