A couple of weeks before the "rockstar" qawwal was killed in Karachi, Sabri had recorded his eagerly awaited Coke Studio debut nearby another legend, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

Sabri is credited with making the qawwali musical style open to Pakistan's childhood. He was a looked for after entertainer for extensive scale occasions in Pakistan, similar to the yearly Lux Style Awards and social trade program, Shaan-e-Pakistan.
